I knew when I saw Jill's beautiful gallery online that I would be lucky to have her take my son's senior portraits. It had been far too long since I had my son's portraits taken professionally so I was beyond excited. The entire experience was wonderful...from the very first contact with Jill to the super fun photo shoot (even for my son who HATES having his picture taken!) to the beautiful photos. Jill captured the essence of Ian perfectly. Jill is a true artist and a consummate professional and it is with great pleasure that I recommend her for your photography needs.

Working with Jill has been a pleasure right from the start. She knew the requirements from the school for my son's senior picture, she is very easy to work with and she takes amazing pictures. My son's pictures were outstanding. She had the ability to draw out his personality and make him feel at ease so that his pictures were not just "posed", but rather true works of art. Jill Rosell recently documented through her camera a performance I did. With jazz, the setting where the music comes to life is often dark and ultimately the ideal environment in which to capture the interplay between audience and performer photographically. Jill not only overcame a perplexing lighting scenario, she captured the essence of the band‘s rapport with the listener, and all the while did it artistically too. The images have even been compiled in a book. Truly an artist and professional.

For the first time in my life (and I'm older than 40!) I have portraits of not only my kids but photos of myself and my husband on the wall too! Jill makes a family portrait session something of a fun event, everyone relaxed around her (even though she was armed with her camera), and good time was had by all. She got the kids laughing and goofing around, our dog to co-operate and, dare-I-say-it, even got my husband to relax and smile into the lens!!! The photos she took are AWESOME!!!! She captured the spirit of my mischevious 4yr old, the energy of my 6yr old, and took the best photos I've ever had of my husband and I together (including our wedding photos!). I would highly, energetically, and confidently recommend her for any of your photographic needs. P.S. She's also a super nice person!!!!

I have had several sessions with Jill Rosell from Jill Rosell Photography. I can honestly say, I have NEVER been so satisfied with a photographer before. I have 2 young children and it is usually impossible for me to find a picture where both of them are smiling, let alone a wonderful family shot. Jill has such an incredibly kind spirit and has fun ways to get children to look into the camera, with natural smiles...all without looking 'posed'. She has true talent and you can see it in all of her pictures. She really does capture your soul! Jill Rosell Photography is amazing! It is not easy getting two little ones to be excited about pictures – but my kids enjoy their sessions with Jill so much. They love Jill! She is so talented behind the camera and really does have an amazing way of capturing emotion in her photos! It makes it difficult to pick your favorites because you can see personality in each shot. Jill was able to get fantastic smiles and expressions out of my 5 and 8-year-olds in no time at all. We found that we had trouble picking out our favorites because so many were so good. Our family shots were excellent too. It was a wonderful experience overall.
